We have gone to Dewey Beach 4 years in a row after labor day. The first 2 years we were able to have their amazing gyros! The last 2 years they have been closed during the week. Very disappointing, but we found other new favorite spots to go to that are open during the off-season. Maybe next year!

Excellent Philly style Cheese Steaks - Amoroso bread makes all the difference. Just like what you would find in Philly, worth getting if you're in town. I will definitely be back.

Love this place! We've been coming to Dewey for over 20 years - and a visit to Nick's has been a must every time we're here. It's family owned and operated and they provide great food at fair prices. Some things come and go - but Nick's remains a staple of the Dewey Beach experience. Be sure to get there when you're in town.

Same place it was 25 years ago, with the same family running things. Good cheese steak and nostalgia make it fun. It's not gourmet but it works. The sub buns have been upgraded.

Fresh food that takes >5 minutes to make, even at peak hours. Every thing here is top quality.

Better than cheesesteaks in Philly. Highly recommend the chicken as well as meat. The owmet and family are great.

Horrible customer service, very rude owner! He took the wrong order over the phone and wouldn’t give us the right sandwich that we originally ordered saying he knows what he heard and we’ll have to pay if we want the right sandwich. He handled the whole situation very unprofessionally. I would not recommend.

Love the food! Cheesesteaks are amazing! As are the burgers. Fries are average tho but still good! One thing to remember is to always have your order ready before calling or they ask you to call back. They are busy during lunch but very fast and accurate with orders!!!

A throw-back place with a Philly cheesesteak that ranks as one of the best I've ever had. (I had them add some hot peppers added to the mix). All their other dishes are fantastic and reasonably priced.

This place has an awesome pizza steak sub, the sauce isn't poured on like some places do, here the chop up the steak on the grill and add the sauce while its cooking and their rolls taste fresh baked. I also appreciate that they have Birch Beer on the fountain, it's my favorite and hard to find except bottled. The staff is friendly and the prices aren't too hateful for the beach.

Amazing Gyros....and open late for the munchies.

Crowded at 6:00 on a Saturday night...was funny, all of the 20 something guys were either drunk or hungover...we had cheesesteaks which were very good as was the chicken gyros and cheese fries.

As a true Philadelphian I have had every "best" cheese steak in the city; from mainstream icons to local favorites. Nick's cheese steak hangs with the best of them. Perfectly seasoned, delicious bread, onions fried to perfection - I couldn't put the darned thing down! Whenever I come back to town, I'll be satisfying my cheese steak cravings at Nick's!!!

Nicks is centrally located 2 blocks from the beach. Great food, reasonable prices, casual, family friendly, parking lot. Nice place to sit and have a good meal.

Loved the food here. Probably the best food I have had here in Dewey. American fare restaurant sits off Coastal Hwy and makes some of the best onion rings I have ever had. Hit this place up if you are in town it is definitely worth it.

I tried this place once with my friend and I am addicted since then. I enjoyed the good ambience and fresh dishes and beverages. Great work.

Do not get confused with the 80,s decor and feel of the place. The steak sandwich is top notch. Superb bun with just a right amount of meat, peppers, onions, cheese and mushrooms. If you are vacationing in Dewey Beach as us, I would recommend you stop by. I'm sure the locals already know.

The cheesesteaks were extremely good. Unfortunately the old lady who served them over the last 20 years passed away last summer. She was part of Dewey forever. Great cheesesteak

Wanted to get fresh made doughnuts, but they weren't making them that day. . . Just on weekends now that it is off-season. We wound up getting chicken tenders and fries. They had a range of sauces, and the server was kind enough to mix sauces for us. I think we got Mango Fire (?) plus teriyaki.

The owners and services is top notch. Very close to authentic Philly street food. Being a big Philly fan, it was a satisfying taste of home.

Cant keep up in the summer. Even though that's the only time they are open. If your going to 5ake advantage of tourism, at least sell a quality product

I honestly don't know why this place doesn't have 5 stars. I'm not even a big fan of philly steaks but I knew I had to try while visiting Dewey Beach. This place does not disappoint!!! Honestly, I've never had a philly steak taste SO DAMN good.

A little taste of home if you live in PA. The cheesesteak was amazing and the crew running this place is awesome! They were nice and very prompt. Great food, fast service, and with a smile! Will definitely be back next time I'm here!
